Advantages: God idea

Disadvantages: WWf used to be terribly boring

I'm not a big fan of the WWF Classics show. It is a good concept, showing events that took place years ago, so that young viewers can see how much the WWf has changed, and so that older viewers can look back on their old favourites, but at the moment WWF classics is showing events from a long time ago, when Vince McMahon was a commentator, and frankly I find the events from back then very boring. Maybe in a few years, when the events shown on Classics are from the 90s, the show will be better, but at the moment the events shown are before my time and very boring.

There are no storylines on the old WWF events, no attacks backstage, no interfering in matches, the few interviews shown are very serious and there is no comedy element, no insulting of opponents. Then again, some of the interviews today are boring as well, such as the monotonous speeches by the likes of William Regal and Kurt Angle.

But still, the events shown on WWF classics are extremely boring, just look at the matches to see what I mean. There are hardly any sudden twists or exciting endings, here aren't any high-flying and entertaining moves, in fact all the matches consist of are punches, headlocks, and then a finishing move that in today's game would only earn a 2 count. About the most impressive move in the events shown on Classics is a Samoan Drop, and that move is somewhat average today.

That is why I don't rate WWF Classics, but I think the idea has potential and the show could be entertaining in a few years time. For the moment, though, don't waste you time watching this show.
