Advantages: Good to watch, ok for children to watch
Disadvantages: Not the extreme WWf we know today
Some may say i love the new 'WWF ATTITUDE'. Its extreme fun and glamorous. To them i say yeah it's good but you vcan't get better then the classics.
Classic or the original WWF is so great to watch, each match is 'usually' won fairly, and also you don't hear the comentator saying 'ohh my god it's so and so coming down to the ring with a chair. Thats why i like WWf classics. Also it's the facxt i grew up watching these guys and so look up to them i suppose.
If we look though WWf has changed over the year so that it is still uptodate. We cannot say WWf has stayed at the old weigh in and matches won fairly, the WWf has evolved into the Exteme and exciting WWf it is today.
In closing WWF CLASSICS is really fun to watch and in some respects alot better for children to watch due to the lack of hardcore and weapons.
You could say it's a classic :)

- 31/05/01 I watch Classics fairly regularly, as the actual standard of wrestling is much higher. If I have the choice of watching old, but great matches between the excellent likes of Ricky Steamboat and The Dynamite Kid, or watch lame attempts at extreme wrestling by Albert and X-Pac, I certainly know what I would choose...... yes, classics! A good op Spmaskell, cheers.

- 30/05/01 Ah, the old days where chairs were for sitting on, nobody dared break tables and the only naughty thing that was done was for a wrestler to untie the turnbuckle pad! I too grew up watching Wrestling Challenge, Superstars and Prime Time and things have definitely changed. Some of the old episodes of Superstars are so bad that they are good! :-) |
