Advantages: Must-see if you missed Raw/Smackdown
Disadvantages: Boring if you've seen Raw and Smackdown
WWF Livewire can be extremely useful or extremely boring, depending on one factor. If you are a wrestling fan and you have not seen Raw is War and Smackdown, Livewire is a must-see because it offers highlights from the events, highlights of all the matches you haven't seen as well as analysis of the angles/storylines.Also on the show are interviews with top wrestlers about recent and future goings-on in the wrestling world, although in my opinion these interviews are pretty poor as there is no excitement, no fans in the background and no threat of another wrestler attacking from behind. But still, Livewire gives excellen converage of the week in wrestling. Therefore, Livewire is extremely important to wrestling fans who haven't seen, Raw and Smackdown, but if you have seen these programmes you should give Livewire a miss. In Britain, Raw is shown on a Friday night, and Smackdown is shown on the Saturday morning, so apart from sleep-time they basically follow on from each other. You get all the week's wrestling action in one go. Livewire is shown just after Smackdown on the Saturday morning, so if you have just watched a ttal 4 hours of wrestling, the last thing you want is to see highlights of what you've just seen. That is why Livewire can be a boring show and should be avoided if you've seen the week's wrestling action. Livewire, however, is also sown on a Tuesday, and this is not so bad. If you are a big wrestlign fan and can't wait until the Friday to watch wrestling action, Livewire can be good to watch, it refreshes your memory of what has been going on in the WWF circuit. I give Livewire three out of five. If you haven't watched Raw and Smackdown, Livewire deserves five out of five, but if you have watched them, it deserves one out of five, so three out of five seems like a fair rating.
