Does the WWF really value its UK fans?

Each year the WWF presents two PPV’s in the UK – Rebellion and Insurrextion, whereas the Americans get 12 shown in their country. The usual American PPV’s consist of hyped up grudge matches or championship matches which people have been praying to see happen! What do we get? - a glorified Raw, featuring the likes of Grandmaster Sexay vs. Eddie Guerrero and The Holly vs. Perry Saturn and Dean Malenko – WOW aren’t we lucky!!!

Does Mr. McMahon realise what he is doing to his UK fan-base - he is gradually wearing it down and will eventually destroy it!

Now, we hardly go an AMERICAN PPV without at least one title changing hands meaning it is hardly a lot for us English fans to hope for, a title change now and again. But no….we’re not worthy of a WWF Championship change, no…not even an Intercontinental title change. The best we have received in the past year or so is a fine European Title change – woo-hoo!! Yes…..weren’t we lucky when Crash Holly defeated our hero William Regal to become European Champion for ONE night and not even be allowed to take the belt out of the arena with him!!

I would really appreciate knowing why we are not worthy of having a decent title change or even a decent match at a UK PPV. Having only two PPV’s a year in the UK is bad enough but having matches which we expect to see on Heat or Metal portrayed as main events is terrible!!

Without us UK fans, the WWF wouldn’t be an International Company, meaning it wouldn’t make as much money as it does and wouldn’t have as much popularity as it currently does – Vince McMahon NEEDS us!! – but what does he do to show that need? – NOTHING!!

I am terribly disappointed in the WWF for treating its UK fans as it does. I have paid well over £150 for two tickets to WWF Rebellion in November – if the WWF does
n’t realise what it is doing and change its act - there will be two empty seats in the M.E.N arena on the night of November the 3rd, the tickets of which once belong to two fans who frankly used to give a damn!!!

Good first op, even though im a big WWF fan i do agree with you with the quality of PPV in the UK, the WWF should be renamed 'American Wrestling Federation', they defintely need to have some more PPV in the UK as well as other countries.

I haven't actually watched the WWF for a few years but I felt back then what you are saying now - American insularity rules.
