Advantages: Royal Rumble

Disadvantages: Channel 5, Sky's incompetence, Possible paying for each event

The Royal Rumble, known to some as the greatest PPV of all 12 of them!

Last year, channel 4 hosted the Royal Rumble. This year, channel 4 seem to think that the World Wrestling Federation is out of date, boring, and down right stupid! So they didn't want to host a great event. Despite the fact that it would have pulled in many ratings for the channel!

Channel 5 were interested in hosting the great show. They tried many times to win the Royal Rumble contract.

However, Sky, who originally didn't seem interested in the show, did what they do best, and beat each other channel to it! Sadly, they think that if such a "un-interesting" show is to be shown on Sky televsision, they should get paid for it!

So what do they do? Charge the WWF for taking up TV time? No, they put it on Sky Box Office and get all the fans to pay! The loyal fans. The fans who dont just sit and watch wrestling, but watch Sky Sports 24/7, now having to pay for one show!

But what does this mean? Will we need to have our checkbooks on standby every time we want to watch a World Wrestling Federation event? Will Smackdown and Raw become new sources of income for the channels? With any luck, Sky will come to their senses amd make sure that this is the only time that us, the loyal fans, have to pay!
