Why Raw is better than Smackdown (WWE Raw)

Advantages: Better Talent, Better Storylines, Better entertainment

Disadvantages: Stone Cold is not there at the moment

Since the WWE split the company and with it, splitting the WWE wrestlers, Raw was been the scape goat of the WWE critics.

For me, Raw is by far and away the superior show, for many reasons,

1. Raw is taped live, on the original wrestling night, a Monday night, so there already the more traditional feel makes it better than Smackdown.

2. Smackdowns Michael Cole and Tazz are the most inept and talent less broadcast team in the entire Wrestling history, Michael Cole sounds like a little Boy Band wannabe and Tazz things his tough guy persona make's him acceptable and 'cool'

3. The Smackdown roster is so boring its unbelievable, its the same old crap week in week out, we got this nancy boy called Edge who the WWE are trying to push as this tough guy. well Vinnie Mac, Edge was brilliant as one half of E&C, where his humour was original and accepted, now they are trying to give him a tough guy persona, PLEASE, don?t insult my intelligence. So, on another note, it's the same old match's week in week out, the main event consists of 5 guys, Benoit, Edge, Brock Bitchcakes, Guerrero and Mesterio. Nothing else, absolute boring pap.

4. The top guys on Raw are better than Smackdown, people like HHH, RVD, Stone Cold, Steiner, Booker T, Shawn Michaels, Kane, Basista, Jericho, Christian and Kevin Nash wipe the floor with Benoit, Edge, Brock Bitchcakes, Guerrero, Undertaker, Rock and Mesterio.

5. I hate the blue and gold right attire on Smackdown, its stinks of early WWF rubbish.

6. Although I hate Smackdown to its bitter sole, there is one thing it has over Raw and that?s Matt Hardy, yes, Version 1 is by and away the most talented young star in wrestling today, his in-ring skills and mic skills have improved 100% since he was held back by the injury prone broken down Jeff Hardy when the Hardy Boyz were together.

7. Smackdown are pining their hopes on Brock Lesner, yes, Brock Lesner. He is so
green its unbelievable, he may be this muscle bound freak, the WWE have been forcing him on the WWE fans far to much, eventually people will rebel and tell him to get stuffed.

8. The Storylines on Smackdown are pitiful and non-existent, comparer to Raw who have storylines, which include history and feelings, like the HHH and Michaels rivalry. The Kane and HH rivalry might have been controversial but it was funny as hell and got Kane over as a proper baby face.
Compare that to the Al Wilson, Torrie Wilson, Dawn Marie storyline there is no competition really.

9. Raw's RNN reports including the multi talented Randy Orton are brilliant, so Smackdown, now you see that the way to push an heel, do it little by little, not force feeding it down the WWE fans throat?s .
