Even the title 'X Certificate' shoudln't be much of a surprise to anyone, browsing the TV listings for post-9pm Channel 5. Let's face it, the channel is quite clearly one for the guys - they've shown more adult movies and programmes in the last three years than any other terrestrial channel. Whilst perusing the channels late one night waiting for him indoors to come home from a night shift, I found channel 5s X Certificate. This is a show with one male presenter, who each week has three different "guests" to review three soft porn films. They have to give a rating tothe films, of buy it, borrow it or leave it on the shelf. The guests are usually from the porn industry, or similar nature. I jsut find it so funny though. they are all trying to be serious, and then they have to give a short synopsis of the film. This show is all about reviewing pornography films, and that is pretty much what there is, aswell as a few interviews with people related to the porn industry. If you want to see a programme full of sexy ladies taking their clothes off, this isn't the show. For although this show does have some extracts from porn videos, it is'nt a main reason for watching as there are better shows on channel 5 if thats what you want.
