You've been framed has been around for years, and in my opinion has changed for the better over the years.It started in the early 1990s and the reason that it has lasted the time is that we all love watching people make fools of themselves on camera and seeing silly misfortunes such as falling into water or slipping over on the dance floor.

Basically, the public send in video clips of "funny" incidents either featuring themselves, friends of family or sometimes even their pets which I find are sometimes the funniest. You are paid £250 for each clip that gets showed which I'm sure leads to some people staging incidents to get the cash, but I guess if it gets a laugh then it doesn't matter.

This show has been hosted by the original prankster Jeremy Beadle and Emmerdale's Many Dingle - Lisa Riley, but recently has been taken over by Harry Hill. It is no longer in a studio setting, but just has Harry doing the voiceover and his one liners and funny comments about each of the clips is sometimes funnier than what you are watching. The show is made for him and he has turned the show around.

It is the sort of show that can be funny, but can also be a lot of the same sort of stuff that you feel you have seen many times before and I'm sure that they sometimes reuse clips as there have been many times that I have felt that I have seen some of them before. Some of the dates at the bottom of the camcorder recordings are also really old, going back into the early 1990s which means the quality is not that great on some of them either.

It's a bit of light hearted fun, not particularly a show that I must sit down and watch, but something fun to put on that doesn't need much concentration, predictable in many cases, but also funny in others,with Harry Hill giving a tired format a new lease of life.
