The stupidity of some people amazes me (You've Been Framed!)

Advantages: funny for the first few times

You’ve Been Framed is one of those programs that is made up entirely by the public. You have a presenter, used to be Jeremy Beadle who has now been replaced with the even more annoying Lisa Riley.

What they do is they get you to send in your videos of people doing daft things, for example, falling over/off/on something, breaking something or generally being a twit. You can also send in funny things done by animals or pets.

The first few times you watch You’ve Been Framed it’s amusing. We all like to laugh at people falling over (don’t say you haven’t!!!!). After that it all gets a bit boring. There’s only so many times you can watch someone drop a wedding cake or break a table before it isn’t funny any more. It doesn’t just get boring, it gets annoying.

Every week you will also get the ‘obvious set up’ video where it’s very blatant that the bloke was supposed to fall out of the boat. To these people; acting is not your strong point, you will never make a career out of it.

The videos I do like are the pet ones. These can’t usually be set up and animals can be soooooooo cute!!!! Little kittens are the best! The animal videos that have been set up are usually tricks that owners have taught them which are still interesting!! I think they should make a whole show of just animal videos, we could watch budgies dancing and dogs talking all night!

Every week they have a ‘winner’ of the funniest video and have the guest there on the show. Usually it’s a child who is really embarrassed because they are ten years younger in the video.

They do pay out good money (apparently) for you videos, £200 I think if it’s shown on the television and you get your video back. It’s worth sending anything in for that!!

The presenter (Lisa Riley) gets very tedious. I guess it’s not really her fault she’s
given really cheesy lines but listening to that in between the videos really gets on my nerves.

If this program were on just once a month it would be funnier. You wouldn’t be watching the same thing over and over again every week, you would get a bit more of a break in between and the videos would seem ‘fresher’, not just the same thing every week.
