Arrested Development follows the fortunes of the Bluth family, a previously rich family who find themselves in trouble when the father is arrested for defrauding the property company he set up and ran. The reguar cast includes Jason Bateman, Michael Cera, Porcia De Rossi, Tony Hale, Will Arnett, David Cross, Jeffory Tambor, Alia Shawcat and Jessica Walters, whilst every episode is driven forward by the narrator (Ron Howard).

Season 3 marks the end for the Bluth family on TV. Although this series is shorter than the preceding two, the writing is still sharp and as usual there is a joke to be found in every line. I have watched and re-watched this series many times, and every time I notice new jokes and references which I didn't take in the first time around. Many of the better references during this series do require knowledge of the series' relationship with Fox, as well as topical news subjects at the time, and because of the continous nature of many of the shows story lines it requires the preceding series to be watch. However, it is also easy to watch and does not require a lot of concentration to get somethin out of it.

The extras included with the DVD are good, especially the last day on set, which gives a good behind the scenes look at the show.
