I bought this dvd in a double pack with bo selecta series 2 and I can definately recommend buying the both of them.

This is british comedy at its best. From Michael Jackson to Marilyn Manson nobody escapes having the fun taken out of them. Ive noticed that with Bo Selecta you either love it or hate it.

The only bad thing id have to say about this dvd is that some of the sketch's are just plain not funny. Such as Avid Merrion and his fantasys for celebrities. I think that the other sketches make up for this. Especially one with Claire Sweeney who is releasing an album for christmas with songs such as baa baa black sheep and we wish you a merry christmas.

Id have to say that if you dont like comedy where all thats happening is people having fun made of them then this is not for you. Id have to say that after watching this dvd Bo Selecta ranks up there with The Office, Vicar of Dibley and Im Alan Partridge as my favourite British comedys. After all the Brits are the best at it.

Id recommend if youve never seen Bo Selecta to watch it on Friday nights before buying this dvd as like I said before a lot of people dont like it but if you do watch Bo Selecta then this is definately a dvd you should buy.

There are a number of extras which were never seen on tv such as Michael Jackson slipping over whilst doing naked chicken skating and Avids illegal immigrant neighbour getting his lines mixed up. There are enough extras to warrant buying this dvd even if youve watched all the episodes on tv.

If you buy the pack containing series 1 and 2 together ive seen some places selling the pack at as little as £20 so its definately not a waste of money.
