Advantages: Great packaging and wonderful extras
Disadvantages: Only 12 episodes long
Buffy may or may not be your cup of tea. Some people love it (and the spin off Angel) others detest it, but whatever you think of the program, you can't knock the utter quality of this DVD boxset.
Containing all 12 episodes of Season 1, we get three discs in the most stunning DVD packaging I ever saw. The box set opens out into a crucifix shape, holding all 3 discs and some rather neat pictures as well as episode titles.
It also comes with a book acting as a guide to each episode, wit hsome deleted moments recorded and little trivia moments.
Once the discs load up you realise how much work has gone in here. Each episode has a sub menu for setting up audio, and each disc has its own unique features, from music videos to tv spos, interviews and other assorted extras. This is spot on.
The program never looked better and the sound is superb, but its the packaging and quality of dic content that makes this DVD set a winner, what ever you think of the program.
