Curb Your Enthusiasm season is, as the title suggests, the first season of the multiple Emmy nominated show, Curb Your Enthusiasm. This first season is the only season so far not to have some sort of interconnected story arc. Probably because it is the first season, and we need time to get used to the characters and the type of people they are. Anyway, the show is a mockumentary style show following around Larry David as he goes about his normal routines. But all too soon we learn that he is his own worst enemy. This Review is about season one of Curb. For an over view of the series in general please read my review under 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' The first season of the fantastic Curb Your Enthusiasm is a great introduction to the surreal and sweary world of the fictional Larry David. The season features ten episodes and was released in 2000 each episode lasts for 30 minutes. 1 - The Pants Tent - the pilot is a very funny episode and features a rogue pair of pants (trousers) which make Larry look like he has a massive erection. My new favourite program. After a friend recommended 'Curb' to me and warned me "season 1 isn't too funny compared to the later seasons", I wasn't expecting too much. Anyway, I transferred the first series onto my ipod and decided to watch them on my way to Thailand. What a program! I had the choice of over 50 new films, various programs etc on the plane but I sat there until my ipod battery ran out. The story follows a socially inept version of the real life Larry David and the daily troubles of his life (run-ins with other famous people, not being recognised for Seinfeld, being recognised for Seinfeld etc). Hilarious, clever and ... Read the complete review

You may not know the name Larry David, but you will surely have heard of a little show called Seinfeld, which remains one of the most beloved and acclaimed sitcoms of all time. David was the creator and lead writer, and in 2000, he devised a new show, Curb Your Enthusiasm, where he would play a comically exaggerated version of himself, interacting with a lot of his real-time friends such as Richard Lewis, Jeff Garlin and Ted Danson, and getting into lots of hilariously awkward situations. Larry is extremely wealthy from his Seinfeld writing, and lives in a lavish house with his wife, Cheryl (Cheryl Hines). He also has a best friend, in Jeff Greene (Garlin), ...
