Family Guy - Season 7 (DVD)
Date: 24/06/09, updated on 24/06/09 (19 review reads)
Advantages: Side splitting
Disadvantages: Not to everyone's taste
Family Guy is really not to everyone's taste. I sit there in stitches of laughter whilst my Dad sits there in stony silence.
I have been a Family Guy fanatic since Season 1 and own all the DVDs. I simply love the fact that it is quite fringe and I often sit there laughing at thinking ' I should NOT be laughing at that, its sick'
The DVD consists of three disks, the first two being Family Guy episodes and the third being special features (deleted scenes, 100th episode special, Family Guy Live etc)
No Meals on Wheels.
An old coin is found under the Griffins carpet which turns out to be worth a fortune. They decide to use the money to open a restaurant, which Peter invites Joe to come to and to bring all his friends, thinking it will give Restuarant a cool reputation. However, he is less than impressed when Joe turns up with a truck load of paraplegics and issues a "no legs, no service" policy.
Boys Do Cry.
Stewie vomits up wine after drinking it in church, which leads the people of Quohog to think he is possessed. The family flee to Texas to hide out until the fuss dies down.
No Chris Left Behind.
Chris is expelled for being too dumb. He does off to attend his Grandfathers posh school but hates it. Meanwhile The Chicken comes back for revenge on Peter!
It Takes a Villiage Idiot and I Married One.
Lois runs against Mayor Adam West and wins the election. The reason for her running is because she wants to clean up Quohog lake. However, she soon becomes corrupt!
Meet The Quagmires.
Peter convinces Death to send him back in time to live out his glory days, however in doing so he alters the future and finds Lois married to Quagmire and he is married to Molly Ringwald! He has to go back in time (again) to win her back.
Movin' Out (Brian's Song)
Brian moves in wth his thick girlfriend, but struggles to pay the rent. So Stewie moves in to help pay it.
Believe It Or Not, Joe's Walking on Air
Joe undergoes leg transplant surgery and suddenly has a new lease on life. He finds some new friends and dumps Peters, Cleveland and Quagmire. So they decide they need to 're-cripple' him.
Stewie Kills Lois - 100th Episode.
Brian buys Lois a cruise for her birthday and she goes off with Peter. Stewie decides he will kill Lois for not taking him.
Lois Kills Stewie.
Lois comes back from the dead just as Peter is being sentenced for her murder and points the finger at Stewie. After killing Cleveland he decides to play out his ultimate goal of world domination - and it doesn't quite go to plan!
Peter becomes obsessed with having a mustache, which is burnt off when he saves a man from a fire at McBurgertown. To show their gratitude he gets free burgers for life and suffers a stroke.
Padre De Familia.
After going to a Veterans day parade Peter becomes extremely patriotic - only to find that he is a mexican immigrant. He has to learn how the life of an immigrant works.
Brian and Stewie pull an insurance job. Meg goes into a coma after being told to get Peters beer from the fridge. When she comes too he vows to be the best Dad possible but actually scares away her first real boyfriend.
Seth Mcfarlene is brilliant as the voices of Peter, Quagmire, Brian and Stewie as always.
The drawings seem to improve every series and the characters look more crisp.
Seth McFarlene is on form with this latest series. Shocking, crass and as weird and random as ever - it's a must have for all Family Guy fans!
Summary: If you have a bit of a twisted side then this is for you!
