Advantages: Hilarious

Disadvantages: Almost certainly offensive

This is a great season of Family Guy. Like all animated series such as the Simpsons, South part etc, the later series are generally the best ones. At some points they did seem to be running out of material a little, but generally a great laugh. This kind of humor is very offensive to pretty much everyone, it is sexist, racist and pretty much everything else but seen as it discriminates against everyone I can't really see how one particular group can be more offended. If it is taken with a pinch of salt it is very amusing and sometimes laugh out load funny. Peter (the father) plays the character of an obnoxious, severely annoying husband and dad), Lois plays a fairly normal mum, then there is Chris (a very low IQ son), Meg (the "ugly daughter" who everyone tries to ignore) and the talking baby Stewie who only the talking dog Brian can understand. It sounds and is very odd but works well. I think you definitely have to have a particular sense of humor which is almost certainly more male than female humor. The best episode in my opinion is the "Bird is the world" episode. It will have you in stitches at how annoying Peter is.

Summary: Hard to believe some of the jokes they get away with....well they were taken of the air twice....
