Series Five is my favourite of the ten series of Friends. Do you really need to buy it when you catch the show on E4 3 times a day? Maybe not. Then again, at under £5 its a nice boxset to have Why is this my favourite series? I think that Friends hit a peak mid-way through its 10 year run. Back in the day when you had to wait 6 months and couldnt go online and watch the next episode, we were desperate to see how the ross-saying-rachels-name-cliffhanger would be resolved at the start of series 5. We have now reached the half way point in the Friends story with Season 5 and this is where the characters and their storylines have become very established and we feel like we really know them and that they are our actual friends. We feel their pain, laugh at their character stereotypes which we know so well and cry at their misfortunes. SERIES 5 of 10! We're halfway through the show!!! And the end of last series was a shocker...!!! We saw the wedding of Ross and Emily...but it all went terribly wrong when Ross said Rachels name and not Emilies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-o nooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok so this is the halfway point in the Friends series , Season 5. Another classic and this is at a time when the show was still brimming with quality and firing on all cylinders, In fact it would be another couple of years before we seen any kind of dip in the series at all. In Season 5 we pick up from where Ross said Rachel's name at the altar and throughout the season we watch as Ross desperately tries to win his wife back, including Emily asking that Ross never see Rachel again.
