HOUSE is a medical mystery television show where Sherlock Holmes (Hence the pun House... oh and why his best friend is called Watson...) meets Grey's anatomy. It was created specifically as a hospital drama meets mystery.

It is very much an episodic based drama, where plotlines are resolved within each individual episode, with general underlying narratives that transpire throughout the seasons. This makes it an excellent show to come home to find on tv whilst you eat your dinner- disregarding which episode it may be.

That having been said, to truly appreciate, as many, many avid fans do, the nuances of the characters I thoroughly recommend watching it all the way through. Dr. House is a sardonic, Machiavellian, abrasive genius; a brilliant physician with a penchant for puzzles. He contorts personal and professional relationships whimsically at his pleasure and this is truly where the astute humour House M.D is renowned for lies.

The premise: A patient is introduced to the team with baffling, unusual symptoms. It is down to House and his team to unfurl the mystery illness and treat the patient before it is too late...

House M.D. has claimed the hearts of thousands of fans, solely for its consistently well written and acted performances. It's a truly loveable series to intertwine with.
