... engaged to two women at once (while not really wanting to get married at all!), and impersonating a female romantic novelist (not knowing that his best friend has just got married to said novelist!). It comes down to Jeeves to help Bertie out with his various problems using his innate knowledge of human psychology. Jeeves is also very particular about Bertie's dress sense, and will often refuse to help him unless he gets rid of certain items of clothing, such as an Alpine hat or a set of handkerchiefs.

My dad bought this for my mum for her birthday a couple of years ago, and me and my sister became obsessed! I was already a fan of P.G. Wodehouse, who wrote the Jeeves and Wooster books, and this collection really epitomised the spirit of the series. For those who don't know, Jeeves and Wooster is a comedy period drama set in the 1930s, about a rather stupid but likeable young rich bachelor (Bertie Wooster, played by Hugh Laurie) and his incredibly intelligent and experienced valet (Reginald Jeeves, played by Stephen Fry).
