An offer to good to refuse, as car salesman Boycie and Abdul offer Del Boy £15,000 for a mission which carries great risk. It is too big an offer to turn down for Del and he soon ropes younger brother Rodney and Uncle Albert. However, things go wrong from the beginning when Del learns his arch nemesis Chief Inspector Slater is on the case and he knows of Boycie and Abdul's involvement. After meeting Abdul and Boycie in the back of their old friend Denzil's lorry, Del receives his final instructions, but Slater is fast approaching and nearly catches Del in the lorry. Denzil returns and drives off, dropping off his load in Hull with Del in the back. Luckily for Del, Rodney follows behind and picks up Del. As they are about to set off, Del comes up with the idea to sail their own boat across to Amsterdam and enlists the old seaman uncle Albert to take control. However, Albert soon proves completely incapable but after finally reaching Amsterdam by luck, and returning back to Hull by luck, Del, Boycie and Abdul are caught in the act with the evidence. Slater it turns out is behind the plot with his partner in crime Van Kleefe in Amsterdam. Despite all the mayhem, it's Del Boy who comes out of it all smelling of roses.
