This series is drawing to the close of the 4th series, and that is meant to be the last series. It is a great show, but it has run it's course and season 1 was the best in my view.

It is a drama and this was originally shown on Channel 5. It is now being shown on Sky One, but repeats can sometimes be seen on UKTV Gold, even though it isn't a UK programme. It is an American Drama, and each episodes last for an hour with 3 ad breaks in them, so approx 44 minutes running time. This season had 24 episodes on it, and you can pick this up on Amazon and Play.com.

The show is mainly about 2 brothers Lincoln Burrows and Michael Schofield. In this season we see that Lincoln is in prison. He says he didn't commit the crime he is in for, in fact he didn't commit any crime, but can we believe that? Why is he inside then? I'm not going to give anything away in this review though. Michael gets himself put into the same prison so he can break himself and Lincoln out. How cane Micheal break out of Prison? Because he has studied the Prison and his body is even covered in tattoos as well.

We find out that Lincoln is in because he is accused of murdering the vice presidents brother and he is up for the electric chair. So it is only a matter of time that this will happen. Will Michael be able to break them out, and will it be on time?

we get to know a few of the other characters in the prison such as Suche, who is quite a good guy. He just wants to get out to his girlfriend. T Bag isn't so nice. He has a nasty streak and is a bit sleazy as well.

This show is full of drama, and quite a few of the episodes end with a twist, or you wanting to find out more. I wouldn't say any of the episodes are boring, and it all builds up to a great ending, which picks up in season 2. Of course people get wind of the great prison break out, so will Lincoln and Micheal go it alone? and what will happen?

This is one of my favourite shows, and the 2nd season is nearly as good as well, I think you find out more about the characters in the 2nd season, so I would highly recommend you to watch this show. You will have to watch it from the start as it won't make any sense otherwise.
