Another great series which is continuing to bring the laughs in a good style

Having watched over the first 2 series (or seasons as they are better known) and seen relationships between Penny, Leonard, Sheldon, Raj and Howard all develop and change this is a series that continues to see that relationship development between these characters which is nice to see as this development is helping to ensure that the show does not become stagnant.

Without wanting to go in to a large amount of detail around events in the series I will say that we do finally see Penny and Leonard having a relationship (it is so widely known that they do have a relationship in the show that I don''t see this as a spoiler) which sees the show taking on a new dynamic that for me is a nice one and manages to continue to bring out the laughs which is the main concern when you are producing a comedy series.

The cast are all fantastic throughout with Simon Helberg (playing Howard Wolowitz) and Jim Parsons (playing the part of Sheldon Cooper) especially standing out for me with their brilliant comedy timing and talents really on show. The rest of the main cast Kunal Nayyar (as Raj Koothrappali), Johnny Galecki (Leonard Hofstadter) and Kaley Cuoco (Penny) perform their parts brilliantly well and do help the show to have a really great feel and continuously deliver on the laughs.

Overall for me this series is once again a fantastic one continues to provide the laughs and style of comedy that fans of the show have come to love. The cast are all fantastic and for me this is one of he very best parts of the entire show as there are no weak links in the cast in my opinion. I do have to praise the set designers too as the simplest of things like the characters going up and down the stairs to the apartments is only achieved through clever design and execution and for me this is something which other shows would not pay much attention to but I really do think that this helps the show to flow brilliantly well.

      Getting worse now

I have previous review on previous seasons of big bang theory, which go over the general gist of this program.
In this season, the season starts off with leonard FINALLY getting with Penny. For those of you who didnt know, i have a severe dislike for leonard, jsut find him annoying the way he plays him being the poor guy who never gets a girl... despite being the only one who regularly gets a girl.. but whatever.

Anyway, penny gets with leonard. Eventually Howard gets Leonard to agree to get penny to hook him up as well. So basically for this whole series both howard and leonard are no longer funny characters, as with them it all becomes too serious. This leaves Sheldon, and Raj. Now Raj almost dissappears from this series because of the fact he mainly interacts with Howard, who is mostly with this new character burnedette, who really is not funny at all. Nothing that she really adds to the show.

So all this leaves to carry this show is Sheldon, and he does this well. The one thing this series has going for it is that there are more of those classical Sheldon moments. But then at the end of the series, it starts signalling the end for that as well, as I will discuss on BB season 4. At the end of the series, Howard and Raj put Sheldon on a dating site, and find a match for him, Amy Fairer Fowler. The moment she arrives, for me signals an end of an era, basically she is meant to be a female version of sheldon, but falls so far of the mark it really makes Big Bang theory seem a complete waste. but more on this on the review of season 4 big bang theory. There was a part in the series where I thought they were going to fix the mistakes that were made by splitting Leonard and Penny up, but then it just shows how much of a douche Leonard really is when he quickly starts getting with other girls. man i hate that character.

In summary this is not as good as seasons 1 and 2, because of the whole relationship issue. N
