Disadvantages: Doesn't Last Long Enough
I've had this DVD for years now, and have always been a big fan of 'The Simple Life', I wrote a review on the first season a while back which wasn't very good as I was a new member then and didn't really know much about the requirements etc. But I will start this review off by reminding people of how funny this reality show used to be.
The series follows multi-millionaires Paris Hilton and childhood friend and adopted daughter of Nicole Richie as they make their way across America back home to LA in a pink truck with no money, no mobile phones and no credit cards. The only thing they have to offer is themselves as minimum wage workers earning up to $100 for each job they do if they do an excellent job with it declining the worse of a job they do, which of course usually happens. They have to beg for money in the first episode to cross over states to begin work and even sponge money for petrol to continue their journeys to work.
They have to stay with families, the only thing different from the first season is that they are not permanently with one family throughout the season, they have to visit other people although this time they can stay in their own trailer.
I personally find 'The Simple Life' as light hearted fun with their fun, childish pranks they pull on the families and their bosses at work. Of course, they use any excuse to do as little as possible and cause as much chaos as possible - I wont go into too much details as I wouldn't like to spoil it for those of you who haven't seen it and would like to see it.
I would easily recommend it to everyone I know, although I do think its aimed at the younger audience.
I personally can't find one fault with the DVD other than at aprox 3 hours it doesn't last long enough.
Worth a watch, even if your not an airhead.
