Unbelievably, I found this series to be the strongest of all five. It is action throughout as the the looseends of the previous four attempt to be tied up. Omar is on full throttle as he hunts for Marlo, following a vicious attack on his good friend, and confrontation always brings the best out of this modern day Robin Hood type character.

This series also incorporates the media into the storyline which is a welcome addition and offers a new insight into the goings on in Baltimore.

The final episode is absolutely fantastic and features a superb montage of all the character and where they end up.

Somehow, this season has remained consistently the best thing ever seen on television or DVD. Its left a huge void and will be missed, but what a way to go out. They couldn't have left it any more perfectly. I find it hard to see another series topping this.
