The X-files season 1 DVD box set comes with seven disks, there are 24 episodes with each of six disks containing four, and the final seventh disk is left for the extras. The whole package comes in a cardboard box; with an outer sleeve that holds the inside box that fold out to hold all seven disks. One side of the fold out holds the disks and a booklet while the other side is decorated with stills and quotes from the series. While the box is extremely stylish and cool it WILL get damaged and torn through time and is already starting to show the effects of living on my active DVD shelves. I've just finished watching the final episode of Season One of The X-Files on the DVD Box Set that I bought a little while ago from Amazon. Watching these episodes again, I am reminded how good this show was right from the beginning. Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny fit into their roles as FBI Agents Scully and Mulder slip right into their roles right from the start. Both of them are gorgeous, hence their appearances on many magazine covers over the years, although Anderson occasionally shows a little chubbiness which she would soon lose in order to become one of the most beautiful women on television.
