... am classed as in a low-income family and I had my whole course paid for, and a grant to help me pay my internet fees, printers, computers, stationary, etc. Grants vary depending on which country you live in. This grant does not have to be paid back. The only exception to this is if you enrol on a course, get your money, then don t actually study. You will then be asked to pay back your grant, but thats understandable! ~Overall~ The OU helps you gain the qualifications you want or need in your own time, therefore causing less stress and pressure. I would definately recommend the OU to anyone who would like to study for a degree but is unable to attend a brick University....

... studied at the London School of Economics for a one-year finance-related masters immediately after obtaining an Oxbridge BA in a humanities degree. I lived off campus, but was on campus Monday to Friday, either attending lectures or working in the library. I absolutely loathed this school. Having been at Oxford for three years previously, I jumped at the opportunity to move to London, especially as I was interested in going into the banking sector at the time - LSE, for obvious reasons, has a good reputation amongst investment banking recruiters. ... am currently in my first year at University College Birmingham studying towards a childcare diploma and Im am working towards hopefully becoming a nursery nurse one day. I only chose the college because of the great word of mouth and man! Im glad I did! They have a wide range of courses on loads of different subjects and give you on the job training oppurtuities throughout your time there.
