On Oxford Rd. there is a good selection of bars a cinema and theatre, however, most importantly the MMU union is situated next to the All Saints Campus. Within the union are two bars, one a pub like scenario, and the other a club named K2. K2 is where it all happens, very popular with the fresher’s. Drinks prices are ridiculously cheap, and Revival a weekly event is attended by many. Clubs and societies also hire K2 on a regular basis for their “social” events in order to raise money. Currently a student at the Man Met Alsager campus, I can wholeheartedly advise fellow and future students not to waste time even thinking about this place. Picture this... Acres of lovely North West (yes, northwest, where Gordon Burns still exists) countryside. Nestling in these lush surroundings is a tiny little town/village/shanty which locals call alsaaaayjer, but which is known to the rest of us as Alsager. This sleepy little town is homw to a good forty percent of the country's old folk, and boasts the largest selection of quaint little pubs per square foot in the country.
