Stirling University has four bars and two nighclubs (term used losely) on campus. The main drinking place is the students union which has three pubs and a nightclub. The pubs are called, the Ale House, Maisies, and the Long Bar. The Ale house is an oldfaished decor pub, its dark and everything is made of wood. This though is a good choice for during the day as the tables are big allowing work to done in a group over a few pints. They also do food, the "famous" pots are the main stay these are like steakpies dishes except filled with things like chicken curry. Stirling University has a very small students union, which become overcrowded and sometimes unbearable! I`ve had to wait 15 mins to be served. I would advise anyone wanting a quiet drink within a reasonable timescale to go off campus. The Meadowpark (which is situated next to the main entrance to the campus) is highly recommended with a good variety of beers. Can get quite crowded but not as bad as the union!
