It seemed all a little bleak when the first few pub visits constituted 'The Regal', a local Wetherspoons pub because it was 'close to the kebab shop' and 'we can't be arsed to go any further'. Sure, the Regal is great, but you can only go there so many times in a week, y'know! So on with the pajama pub crawl! Many pubs were visited and much drunkenness prevailed. A first glimpse of the Cambridge bar and clubbing scene left a lot to be desired compared to the bar haven that is Leicester where I originally come from. But, after a few weeks and drunken missions into town, I began to see a whole different side of Cambridge.
