Cardiff city is the capitol of Wales! 'So what' you say? OK, let me re-phrase it. Everytime a band does a UK-tour, it goes to all the big cities of UK!

Cardiff students' Union is the only big enough (uni) place to host such big events...so all the big bands stop at Cardiff.

Cardiff is a big city, so there are plenty of things to do every night. But at the same time Cardiff is small, so you can walk to wherever you want to go. It's a safe place most of the times, but if you don't like walking on your own (understandable for gals), you can take a free shuttle bus (available for Cardiff Uni students only).

Do you like cheap nights to get pissed? Then Cardiff has it for you! On thursdays it's 80p a pint and the students' union is licensed to open 'til 1am! If you prefer a quieter and 'chique' place, there are some expensive pubs.

Cardiff is probably the cheapest place to live in and to go out. You'll never be bored of things to do. If you do get bored, then you haven't tried everything!
