Newest Review: ... costs anywhere between £6-£10 depending on who's playing - Neil Anthony is the resident who plays usually until around 12 (and he's really come on well - I gather he now does some minor sets in Ibiza each year) and he is then followed on by the guest DJ - usually one of the UK's best but also frequently Internationally known names. Recent DJ's playing have included: Judge Jules (Gatecrasher) Scott Bond (Gatecrasher) Jon Carter (Home) Guy Ornadel (Gatecrasher) Justin Robertson (Bugged Out) Paul Jackson (Ministry) K-Klass (Cream) Nigel Dawson (Renaissance) I could go on and on, but that's probably enough. Premium Review Bars & Entertainment: DUSA - The Grand Tour (1667 words)
by - written on 20/09/01 (Very useful, 103 readings)
Rating:

Ah, DUSA. Not so much a bar as a great big building full of bars and other drinking establishments, as well as a number of other facilities - some, but not all, of which are alcohol providing facilities. Anyone reading this who's going to be starting at Abertay this year - enjoy yourself at the Freshers Fortnight over at UADSA, as in previous years it has been pretty good. After that though, ditch the tiny establishment at the top of the never-ending staircase and head over to the fine five-story DUSA building at Dundee Uni. DUSA has it’s fair share of pop nights don’t get me wrong, but if ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Bars & Entertainment: Dancing and debauchery down at DUSA (230 words)
by - written on 14/07/00 (Very useful, 44 readings)

Forget anything you've heard about other Scottish student unions, lots of people have lots of opinions on subjects they know very little about. Take it from someone who been to and been thrown drunkenly out of nearly all the unions north of the border that Dundee University Students Association is the cheapest overall and has some of the best events and facilities of any nightclub not just student unions. The building itself is five stories high and comprises of two bars, two nightclubs, a food outlet and umpteen pool tables and arcade machines. There really is something for everyone. Wether you're out on the pull, going clubbing, looking to dance away the ...  Read the complete review
