Newest Review: ... The Union puts on all kinds of entertainment from quizzes to Karaoke. Plus across the street are another 3 good student bars, The Fly & Firkin which brews it's own beer, the Star and Garter and the Dickens Inn (careful sitting on chairs in the dickens there all a little Rickity). All 3 of these plus the Union have very cheap drinks promotions usually something different daily. Middlesbrough also has it's fair share of other good bars in the town, a number of them having late licenses till 1am, like the Corner House just under the train station. The University has a very nice students union, with a nice long bar, large TV screen for sporting events and a food counter selling chips, jacket potatos, pizzas etc. There is also a nightclub with a chill out room upstairs. The Union puts on all kinds of entertainment from quizzes to Karaoke.
