Newest Review: ... comfortable and god for a civilised drink or to watch the footie. The union is very small. It has 2 bars and a "club". The drink is cheap. I was there a few weeks ago, and I think the juke box is still the same as it was in 1994 when I started there! They've redocrated "Jinglin' Geordies", even painted in a fake bookcase. Magnificent. On the plus side, 'Geordies does have 3 pool tables, some arcade games and some fruit machines. "Liberty's" is an attempt at amore civilised bar. it's a lot quieter and does cocktail evenings on Sundays, sometimes with live music. It also catches the sun... more

The best thing you can say about the bars on Heriot-Watt camous is that theyserbe relatively cheap alcohol - but then every student bar should! The Lectern, located just behind the cafeteria in the main building is the pick of the bars, offering decent beers and good food bu it's opeing times don't suit those out for a late night! It's also well liked by lecturers, so it's not the "craziest" of atmospheres - rather comfortable and god for a civilised drink or to watch the footie. The union is very small.
