Bars are very important - as with any University, it's where we get drunk and embarrass ourselves in public. Fortunately, Keele has several bars. Much of the accommodation have their own bars, like the Lindsay bar. These tend to be privately owned or run by students. So the prices are that little more expensive than the Union at about £1.65 a pint. There are a couple of proper pubs around the campus where you get some punters other than students, but they also tend to be around the same price.
