The Union however is the cheapest place to drink on campus. The Union itself is quite large with three separate rooms/halls. Each room has at least one bar (Plus a non-smoking bar down stairs) and the drinks are a quid before 10pm for pints and before 11pm for double shots. Afterwards they go up to about £1.45. Which means a tenner lasts you a lot longer. In the main gallery bar, there are 4 pool table costing 50p a go. There are several arcade machines around. Bars are very important - as with any University, it's where we get drunk and embarrass ourselves in public. Fortunately, Keele has several bars. Much of the accommodation have their own bars, like the Lindsay bar. These tend to be privately owned or run by students. So the prices are that little more expensive than the Union at about £1.65 a pint.
