King's is getting bigger and bigger and, unlike most of the other Universities recently merged, visibly better and better. And if its entertainment and bars you're after - it's tops! The Union had a huge redevelopment last year on the Guy's campus and opened a new bar and club. The bar is a vast 'Pitcher and Piano' type affair and offers some of the cheapest drinks in the London Bridge area. On top of that, it is jam packed with students from across all the campuses which gives it a great atmosphere! KCLSU has many bars on many sites. Oh, the life of a student at King's. The main Strand site has three bars. The Waterfront, Tutu's and the Reach Bar. The Waterfront Bar looks out over the Thames onto the South Bank and is open Monday to Saturday from 11am til' 11pm. This is the main student bar and is where most people eat, drink and be merry during the day. It can get very busy, very noisy and very smoky. But hey, that is what being a student is all about!
