OK, so it's a Friday night and I, like many people enjoy a good night out. So my friend John calls me up with the obligatory "We going to crush?", to which I reply "Do children like Christmas?!"

I discovered Crush one Friday evening in December 2004. My mate John Called me up and told me about this economics student union and a clubbing night on a Friday called: Crush. So, being the adventurous type, i went and explored.

What a night

Crush is a Friday night even only, normally only during term time of LSE. The drinks are cheap, it's not overly one gender (in other words girls do go there) and the entry fee is cheap if you get there before ten.

Three different rooms encompass the Crush experience:

The Quad - a large room with a stage which sometimes hold dance offs. Studenty club music, in other words cheese.

The Underground Bar - Sometimes a gay bar. (just so you know). Other nights is musically themed : R&B, Hip Hop, Bhangra (which is kinda cool actually).

Three Tuns Pub - A pub feel to it, pool table, largest bar, places to sit etc.. etc...

All three bars have there own bar and the Quad and the TTP share music mixed by a DJ.

All in all it's a good night out. Sit back relax (if you can find a chair) or Dance and get crushed (pun intended). Yes it does get crowded and no it doesn't matter, you'll have fun.

Next in term Friday come along, I’ll see you there. Hey if you find me out I’ll even buy you a drink. ;)
