I did the staffs thing for 3 years. 1 year in halls, 2 years in Shelton. It has to be said that the place is not particularly pretty. This does however mean that people have pulled together for the sakes of their own, and their colleagues entertainment. I was school of '96-99, so I am not sure if these events are still on, but if they are, they demonstrate the strong D.I.Y nature of the funky young things at Staffs. Dantai - Beats and Breaks, will be found in Odyssey or at Satchmo's in Hanley. Recommended. I've been at Staffs Uni for almost two years now and since I've been here I don't think I've been out on any really good nights at the union. Every wednesday there's "Gobble" and on friday it's "Shag" at Leek Rd Venue. I must have been about a hundred times and each time it's exactly the same. The bar and dance floor are always packed with people and the music's usually rubbish. The problem is that I live so close to it and it's the only place I can be bothered to go to!
