I was undecided as to what route I wanted to take career wise after having my son, and after much deliberation I opted for an Introduction to Business and Management course through the OU.

From the start the staff were very helpful in guiding me and ensuring I had made the right choice of courses, and had enough time to study.

Once I had received my study books and PC software and log in details, I explored the course website and familiarised myself with the layout, and what was expected of me on this course.

The books are easy to understand, the layout is brilliant, and there are many activities to refresh your memory on what you have just read, and also to get you thinking a bit deeper about different businesses and their structures.

Your tutor is on hand at all times, and the Tutor Group Forums provide a lot of support from people in the same boat as you.

I would recommend this course as a taster to anyone who is interested in taking a Degree in Business Studies.
