Advantages: Friend.ly, good halls of residence, beautiful city

Disadvantages: ?? Cant think of any!

Well, I went to Cardiff Uni between 1996 to 2000 where I studied Spanish & Italian. I read someones review that said the language dept was rubbish and although it is not the best in the country I am sure there is also a lot worse.
The halls of residence are really great. I stayed in Talybont North where the rooms are older that Talybont south however my little room had an ensuite and although small had everything it needed. It was also right next to the bar which was also an advantage!
The University buildings are gorgeous and on a summers day you cant beat sitting in the park doing your studying whilst being surrounded by beautiful historic buildings. The nightlife is really good too and there is always something to do or somewhere to go.
If you need employment then its also easy as its such a big city so bar work is very easy to find. I would recommend Cardiff as its friendly, pretty and there is no chance to be bored or lonely!

Summary: A good choice of Uni in a great vibrant city
