So your thinking about going to Cardiff?

After visiting the university I felt disappointed. Everyone rates it highly and it is known as one of the best places to go to. I disagree. Parts of the university I visited looked and felt old and not up-to-date like others I had visited. The mathematics dept looked especially weak due to the old "rustic" buildings. The area surrounding the uni can only be described as a dump and words cannot describe the smell in the halls of residence!

The student union however was much nicer than any other i've seen and the club there looked amazing. The social side of the university seemed to be very vibrant and one of the best I have seen.

However I doubt I will be accepting my BBC offer as first or second choice. Some people say Cardiff is a excellent place, but sorry, I couldn't see that myself.
