Birkbeck College, University of London, specialises in part-time higher education for mature students. There are many interesting courses, which lead to certificates and diplomas, and carry CATS points. So far I have gained certificates in psychology and applied psychology each of which have been taken at local education centres, avoiding even the need to travel to Central London.
