The faculties offer degree combinations with ever other faculty (the exception is media as it is very popular) this offers students a wider choice and allows for different interests to be pursued. The courses are well managed, the staff are friendly and helpfull. The staff are always willing to offer help and advice. This choice of courses offers a great incentive for prospective students as they remain in control of their degree this cannot be said for a lot of other universities. Stirling University has one of the most flexiable degree structure. In your first and second years, students undertake six units during this time your degree can be changes and adapted for example a student may wish to do history and politics degree and does one unit in Economics they might leave after four years having a Economics and history degree.
