Newest Review: ... I nearly chose to do the course by distance learning but the university option was less expensive and I thought that it would be useful to have contact with others from the personnel field. The course still weighs in at around £3,500 over the 2 years so it's pretty obligatory to have the financial backing of your employer! Over the two years, there have been some very good points and some areas of the lecture programme which could have been improved. I'm currently studying part-time for a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management at Strathclyde University and I'm in my final year (2 of 2). Studying one day per week at a university is one of the ways you can achieve Graduate Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development - just about essential if you're planning a career in human resources.
