I am currently taking this course as my third year of study with the O.U. (our affectionate term for the Open University!), to be counted as one half of the credit I need to obtain a diploma in music. It is a full credit course (60 points), consisting of 8 assignments which are written approximately one a month through the year, and a final exam, with assignments and exam being equally weighted in determining your final grade. This course, as many other OU courses do, begins in Feburary and ends with an exam in October. It is expected that you put in 16 hours of work a week on a 60 point course, but I have found that this time allotment depends very much upon ...
