Hi...I was doing a search on the university i graduated from and I came across this and was shocked by the reviews. It seems obvious that those that gave negative reviews are just negative people in general because they are way off. Richmond is great in terms of diversity and the quality of academics. If Richmond is so bad, why did my friends who I graduated in go on to such Universities as Cambridge and LSE? Are these third rate institutions? Why did my friend land a great job at Accenture? Not a good company? Why was I accepted unconditonally into Goldsmiths and University of Westminster? Not because I am rich, I can tell you that because I had to work myself through school and relied on a scholarship which I earned by studying hard. For those of you looking for a school, do you expect people to hand things to you on a plate? When you go to college its really up to you to make the most of things. If you really engage with the material you are studying and take advantage of the knowledge of students and faculty (who by the way almost all have Phds) from an amazing array of backgrounds and use London as a classroom, Richmond is a great choice. If you give into gossip and laziness then you will probably have a bad time any where you go.
