Newest Review: ... staffs are awful, bearing a few. The good thing is that the teachers know that what they are doing is wrong and that the place where they work is also pathetic. I just want to tell anyone, if they are planning to join TVU, please don't do it. It will be the biggest mistake of your life and you will simply ruin your career. Also for International students, if you want to sell your house and give your parents heart attack with the burden of paying up the extra fees that the university will snatch from you..do join this university and dig your own grave for your career. Thames Valley university is the worst university in all of UK..it is nothing but just a money making machine..the management will kill you from top to bottom. The teaching staffs are awful, bearing a few. The good thing is that the teachers know that what they are doing is wrong and that the place where they work is also pathetic. Thames Valley was actually founded as an institution in 1860 but only received university status in 1992. The university has a strong emphasis on vocational courses, in particular the following subject areas: music, digital arts, management education, hospitality and healthcare. I attended Thames Valley University for a year in 1998/1999 studying for an MA in Information Management. Thames Valley is split between two main campuses, Slough and Ealing.
