Advantages: Five star departments; excellent social life

Disadvantages: expensive to live in london

I did my undergraduate and postgraduate studies at UCL. It was the best choice that I ever made. UCL is a 5* university not only in science and research but also in the arts so you are bound to get a very good education. They have a wide range of sport clubs with two gyms within the campus including a swimming pool. I always found UCL students to 'live in the real world' unlike some other university towns. The social life here is always buzzing with more than 5 bars and themed nights with cheap drinks, which every student loves! The location of UCL is in Central London with the West End and all its clubs, restaurants, theatres within walking distance. There are two main libraries, one especially for science and another general one plus The British Library is 5 minutes walk away.

Summary: UCL gives a top class degree and produces all rounded students.
