I am currently studying Law and ever since the open Day at the University of Aberdeen I knew that this was the best place to be. They were so welcoming to new prospective students and instantly made you feel at ease and like this was your home. Aberdeen is always in the top spots for studying law in Scotland and that was reaffirmed as ...  Read the complete review

Loved this Uni. Studied Biochemistry in the world renowned department, with real international standard researchers. The course was definitely designed around what industry and research bodies would want from a graduate. The only way I could have improved what I got out of my time at university would have been to undertake the ...  Read the complete review

When I first came north as an undergrad in Aberdeen University I took a wander through the old town, along the cobbled street with its eccentric side alleys, along the Chanonry to St Machar Cathedral, through Seaton Park to the Brig of Balgownie, then back to wonderful King's College, crown towered and golden - and fell in love with the ...  Read the complete review

I was at Aberdeen for four years and thought it was a great university. The staff were mainly very friendly, and the further throught the course I got, the more supportive they became (with a few exceptions!). It is always hard choosing a university, so here are some of the best points about Aberdeen. First, the location. For ...  Read the complete review

I chose Aberdeen to study for my post-grad degree without much knowledge of the uni or the city itself. What a pleasant suprise I got!! Starting with the uni itself, the vast majority is in the one area - old Aberdeen. Here lies one major advantage over other city universities such as Edinburgh and Glasgow. At Aberdeen, you ...  Read the complete review

Yes, Aberdeen is one of the coldest places I have ever been in my life - possibly excluding the day I fell into a deep-freezer, but that's another story... Aberdeen is a fascinating blend of the old and thenot-so-new - King's College, where many of the arts lectures take place, is an architectural dream to look at, while ...  Read the complete review

As a confirmed Southerner, I wasn't at all sure what to expect from Aberdeen when I arrived up here to start my degree. Things weren't made any clearer from my first few encounters with the natives, who seemed friendly enough, but appeared to speak Serbo-Croat. Linguistic difficulties aside, Aberdeen turns out to be a great ...  Read the complete review
