Buckingham is a small town with little to offer a student population - so how does the University prosper then? With money of course and lots of it.

The only private university in the country, Buckingham accepts applications from prospective students all over the world for obscenely high tuition fees. The vast majority of students are from abroad and obviously often well off, in order to be able to afford it.

This may put off a lot of English applicants, including those eligible for the two scholarships offered each year by the Uni, however the atmosphere is warm, language barriers soon overcome, and any student can enjoy a truly multicultural expreience there.

The University is a fine asset for the town itself, bringing both money and recognition from the wider community.

You seem to like writing a lot of crap ops on buckingham. Have you actually been a student there? You profile says you are at durham. Oh, and you do not have to be rich to go here, I'm not and neither are a lot of my friends
