I?m currently a student at the university of Derby (as you might have guess) about to start my second year and so I know what people think is important about the universities they are about to choose or embark upon. Since I only have experience at Derby Uni. I will let you know on what is here. I am currently residing in one of atleast six halls of residence. Four of these are close to the halls I am in at the moment so you certainly wont be far away from your lecture buddies. But more importantly there are four pubs within close proximity to halls all serving various cheap shots and the favored drink snake bite and black. And if this was not enough the town centre is 15-20 minutes by walk (as is the university if your bothered) with regular buses also in operation (if your to hung over to walk). In town there are a multitude of club and pubs to incapacitate any hardened drinker.
All types of music admirers are catered for in various pub and clubs. Cheese being the most popular among the student body at the time that is not all that is on over. Punk and Jazz nights are also available at selected pubs and are well advertised to tell you exactly where and when.

Drinks cheap
Nights are long
Anyone and everyone can party hard any night of the week

Break the bank account and enjoy stumbling home
