Location
Trinity is an unsual university as it is centered in a capital city, but still retains a strong campus atmosphere. This is in large part due to the compact design of the campus: the main buildings look inwards, and there are a small number of public gates. Student numbers increased during the 1980s and 1990s, with total enrolment more than doubling in size, and leading to pressure on resources. Students can be housed either on campus, typically only those in their final year of study, or in Dartry four kilometers to the south of the city campus mostly for first years.

Academic
University College Dublin considers itself a rival of Trinity, the feeling not generally been reciprocated.
Undergraduates typically are obliged to study four years for an honours degree, one year more than most other universities in the British Isles, this is similar to the pattern in Ireland. In recent years, students have been offered a broader range of courses, outside of their specialiastion. As a result, the pedagogy has moved a little closer to the North American than the English University model.

The College is divided into six faculties:

* Arts (Humanities)
* Arts (Letters)
* Business, Economic & Social Studies
* Engineering & Systems Sciences
* Health Sciences
* Science

welcome to dooyoo, I'm sorry for the low rating. There isn't really much information in the review about the College, that might influence someone to go there, or not go, as the case may be. Have a look at other Uni Opinions, and maybe add a bit more to this. You'll get better ratings from people on the site, and will earn more dooyoo miles :)

It's worth putting in the extra time. Good Luck xx

Welcome to dooyoo first off
Not to bad for a first review
but could do with covering a few more concepts. Im looking at Uni's and what about the local city? night life? student attitudes? teaching staff? campus? accomadation? subjects? what they specialise in? cost? sporting life?
Read around see what is good and bad
:D
